COVID-19 Vaccine Town Hall recording from 1/14 Elected officials of central and southeast Denver hosted a town hall to share information about the COVID-19 vaccine plan. This included CM Hinds and other Denver Councilmembers, but also DPS board members, and state representatives and senators. DDPHE Director Bob McDonald was the main presenter, and attendees were able to ask questions using the chat function. Watch the town hall recording on Facebook. Denver COVID-19 response update Mayor Hancock and Department of Public Health and Environment Executive Director Bob McDonald updated the community about the city’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Updates included that Mayor Hancock and mayors from across the country have sent President-elect Biden a letter asking him to provide cities with greater control and flexibility in obtaining vaccines and directing distribution, especially to under-served populations.
