The Denver Fire Department is pleased to announce that the 2021 Denver Fire Department Young Adult Career Exploration Camps will be taking place this July. The Camps are free to participants and are structured for youth grades 4th thru 12th. The DFD Career Exploration Camp is an excellent opportunity that allows young adults to learn, experience, and recognize the possibilities of a future career as a Denver Firefighter. Campers will participate in hands-on simulated emergency fire and rescue situations, while earning certificates in First-aid and CPR. It is the mission of our instructors to instill participants with team building and leadership skills, along with valuable life lessons, while having fun! Our hope is to inspire these participants to consider working as a Denver Firefighter after their high school and college careers.

The Co-Ed camp will take place July 26th -28th, and the Young Ladies Camp is July 28th-30th.  On Wednesday, July 28th both Camps will over-lap that day as Denver Health & Hospitals will use the time for campers to earn their First-Aid and CPR certifications.
