Denver Workforce Services is partnering with the AARP Foundation to bring the BACK TO WORK 50+ program to older adults four times a year. The program goal is simple: get older workers employed. To aid in this goal, DEDO helps to prepare job seekers for the current workplace through the following coaching content:

  • Effective resume and cover letter writing
  • Interview strengthening
  • Self-marketing techniques
  • Upskilling/educational opportunities – especially as regards digital skills
  • Networking strategies
  • Q&A session with recruiters from various organizations

The program starts with a one-hour overview webinar that is then followed in subsequent weeks with group coaching sessions where we further flesh out the topics listed above through a more interactive platform. Job seekers also receive 1:1 job coaching from Eckerd Connects, through which they may be eligible for training dollars.
