Chris Hinds is supporting District 10 small businesses and nonprofits through the Community STAND (C-STAND) program, which helps them stay rooted and thrive in our neighborhoods. This program, run by the Denver Urban Renewal Authority, provides grants ranging from $10,000 to $50,000 to strengthen local organizations that serve our community. These funds can be used for tenant improvements, buying equipment, securing or purchasing space, and other needs that help businesses and nonprofits remain stable.
C-STAND focuses on areas near Urban Renewal Areas, especially those historically underinvested, which includes parts of District 10. By backing projects that preserve cultural identity and build long-term stability, the program helps maintain the unique character of our neighborhoods and supports economic resilience.
Chris has actively encouraged local organizations to apply for these grants, recognizing how vital they are for sustaining the services and businesses that make our community vibrant. Grants are awarded in several rounds, with recipients expected to complete their projects on schedule.
If you or an organization you know could benefit, the application deadline is March 6, 2026. To learn more or apply, visit the C-STAND Application hub here.
Through efforts like this, Chris is working to ensure District 10 remains a strong, stable place where local businesses and nonprofits can continue to grow and serve residents.
