District 10 residents will soon have a new, greener way to travel between Pueblo and Fort Collins, thanks to the upcoming Front Range Passenger Rail. Councilman Chris Hinds is inviting neighbors to help name this important train that will reduce traffic and improve connections along Colorado’s Front Range.
The Front Range Passenger Rail District has narrowed the name choices to four finalists: Colorado Connector, Colorado Ranger, Front Range Express Destinations, and RangeLink. Residents can vote for their favorite name through March 23, 2026.
Councilman Hinds encourages everyone in District 10 to participate in this naming contest, which is more than just picking a name, it’s a chance to shape Colorado’s transportation future. Two lucky voters will win tickets for the train’s inaugural trip in 2029.
This new rail line will make travel safer, cleaner, and more accessible for all Coloradans, including those in District 10. It’s a key step toward reducing car congestion, lowering emissions, and connecting communities along the Front Range.
Councilman Hinds is proud to support this milestone project and urges neighbors to share the voting opportunity with friends and family. Together, District 10 can help build a more sustainable and connected future for Colorado!
