Prosperity Denver Fund: Investing in Denver’s Young People in District 10

Prosperity Denver Fund

Councilman Hinds is working to expand education and career opportunities for young people in District 10 through the Prosperity Denver Fund. This fund uses local tax dollars to support nonprofits that help students with high school support, college access, career training, and apprenticeships. Since 2018, Prosperity Denver has invested over $65 million in programs that have helped nearly 64,000 Denver students pursue their goals.

In District 10 alone, more than 73 students have received scholarships and career training through Prosperity Denver’s partner organizations. The fund also helps high school students plan their next steps after graduation, making it easier for them to find the right path. If you or someone in your family is looking for help with college or career planning, Prosperity Denver’s website offers tools and a directory of nearly 100 organizations serving young people up to age 30. These resources can guide you in finding support tailored to your needs.

The Councilman encourages residents to learn more about how this fund works by watching the Prosperity Denver video and signing up for their monthly newsletter. Together, these efforts help build a stronger future for District 10 and all of Denver by investing in our young people and workforce development.
