621 and 633 17th St. to become High Fidelity Plaza

In the first housing article we introduced you to Luzzatto’s plan to renovate the Denver Energy Center. Luzzatto is at it again with their newly approved plans to convert the nearly 1 million square feet of office space at 621 and 633 17th St into 712 apartments when they purchased the 28 and 32 story buildings. the total development cost is $315 million.

The Downtown Denver Development Authority approved a $63 million dollar loan last week clearing the way for Luzzatto to begin construction later this year. In addition to the plans for 712 apartments, the final product, dubbed High Fidelity Plaza, will include a bodega, a children’s museum, wine bar, bookstore, daycare, art gallery and co-working spaces.
